Gospel Artiste, Empress Gifty, has sent a strong warning to individuals who troll her on social media.
The singer has been a victim of social media trolls for numerous occasions, with some people questioning her fashion sense and her utterances as a gospel artiste.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Thursday, the singer admonished social media users to desist from involving her family when they decide to troll her.
"I don’t want it to get into my family, my husband and my children. You can insult me because I am the face of the brand but don’t go beyond it."
She said, "Each time they attack my family, I get so emotional."
However, Empress Gifty also said she sometimes enjoys the trolls.
According to her, it gives her the impression that she is on the right path in her career.
"When people always praise you, you have a problem. This tells me I am doing something right, and these people are talking about it".
Empress Gifty is a Ghanaian gospel musician and fashion icon. She was awarded the artiste of the year in the 2018 National Gospel Music Awards.
In 2019 she led the nomination list in the Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards held in Kenya. She is currently the 3Music Digital Act of the year.
