The Chairman of Kabaka Foundation has appealed to the public to show compassion towards the needy and less privileged, especially widows and children.
According to him, the impact of being compassionate will go a long way to change one's status in society.
Nana Owiredu Wadie I, the Nkusuohene of Kwahu-Nkwatia said this when his Foundation feted over a 1000 children and provided 500 widows with bags of rice, chicken and eggs as part of activities to mark the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

They handed out the items at the Freedom Hills hotel in Kwahu-Nkwatia to mark the climax of a week-long event by the Foundation to bring Christmas cheer to the less privileged in society.
In an address, Nana Owiredu Wadie 1, a-forty- under-forty winner said he is committed to seeing to the welfare of widow and children in the Ghanaian society.
“It is not easy to feel forgotten when you have nobody to care for your needs but I want to assure you who are gathered here that God and my family headed by my father, Opanyin Kwame Wadie are concerned about your welfare and the children," he stated.
"Let's all help the less privileged in wherever we find ourselves. Government cannot do it all, Nana Wadie cannot do it all, everybody must come on board so Ghana will be a better place for us all," Nana Owiredu Wadie who is also the Nkusuohene of Nkwatia appealed.

The Assemblyman for the Dompem electoral area, Daniel Agyepong who graced the occasion called on individuals and groups to emulate the gesture by the Foundation.
"He has been doing this consistently for many years and I will urge others to emulate what the Foundation is doing for the less privileged across the country," he said.
