The Management of Blow Chem Industries Limited, producers of Bel-Aqua Mineral Water, have announced that following a minor technical challenge with the company’s packaging machinery, 500ML bottles of Bel-Aqua may be found without the usual plastic sheet around the cap.
However, they have assured consumers of the safety of their product.
According to them, despite the lack of plastic sheet around the cap, “Bel-Aqua caps will still have the Tamper Evident Break Away Band (cap ring seals) in place as the standard safety seal to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of the products.”
The company also noted that as usual the bottled water will come in their usual branded shrink wraps and well-sealed cartons.
“Management regrets all inconveniences this may have caused, while work is speedily underway to restore the packaging machinery to normal functionality,” the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Food and Drugs Authority has been informed of the development.
