United Bank for Africa (Ghana) celebrated this year's Valentine’s Day in style as it showed love to its customers and staff through a series of love-filled activities and gifts.
The bank shared chocolates and corporate gift boxes with cocoa products across business offices to delight customers as part of the Valentine’s Day celebration and to commemorate National Chocolate Day.
The theme for this Year’s celebration was ‘UBA Red Love’ and was aimed at demonstrating love and appreciation for customer loyalty.
The Valentine’s Day evening was crowned with the screening of the feature film titled ‘Unintentional’, a Red TV production which is the bank’s lifestyle online TV channel available free to air on YouTube.
The movie screening saw about 200 selected customers and staff watch the free movie at the Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall.

In addition to the array of love of gifts, the bank also launched the web version of the new mobile app which serves as internet banking for retail customers, with the theme ‘Made for Love’.
The newly upgraded internet banking has been fully equipped to provide a new digital experience to customers as the bank has invested in cutting edge technology to achieve this with attention to the smallest detail.
Senior management of the bank could not stay out of the excitement and euphoria around the bank as they joined in the event to put smiles on the faces of customers they interacted with.
Customers expressed joy and gratitude upon receiving their chocolates. The day ended with delighted customers and praise for the initiative.
