MDXi, West Africa’s leading commercial data centre provider has attained Management System Certificates in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for the new MDXi Appolonia Data Center, international standards for quality management and information security management respectively.
This world-class facility which opened in June 2021 is an extension of MDXi’s data centre footprint into Ghana to deliver services; with management systems in place to ensure quality service delivery and Information security.
These are the same operational standards currently in place at MDXi’s premier Data Center in Lagos, Nigeria which is certified to both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 hosting data centre facilities for some of the largest banks and Oil and Gas companies in Nigeria.
Attainment of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certificates reinforces the commitment of MDXi Appolonia Data Centre to consistently provide services that meet customer as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
Country Manager, Emmanuel Kwarteng, at a brief session with the awarding bodies reiterated the importance of these certifications and MDXi’s commitment to ensuring all the benefits accrue to its customers and partners.
He applauded the MDXi staff and the awarding bodies for detailed and excellent work.
MDXi Appolonia launched in June last year and has been able to achieve this feat in a record time of six months.
He added that MainOne and MDXi will always be compliant and future proof to allay all customer worries of the ever fast-changing technologies.
