The President of the National Scouts and Guides Fellowship of Ghana, Prosper Bani, has been elected as a member of the International Scouts and Guides Fellowship World Committee.
Mr Prosper Bani was elected at the 29th global conference held by the International Scouts and Guides Fellowship World Committee.
The conference was held from February 26 to 27, 2022.
He joins committee members including Anna Rodrigues from Portugal, Italy’s Mario Bertaglonio, Malaysia’s Zalillah Mohd Taib, Elin Richards from Iceland and Curaco’s Vanessa Hoogenbergen.
Mr Bani served as the Minister of Interior and Chief of Staff during the Mahama-led administration.
He also served as a senior official of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The International Scouts and Guides Fellowship is a worldwide volunteer organisation made up of older Scouts and Guides. The Fellowship works with young people and support empowering communities for development.
