The song was produced by Itz CJ and the video was directed by Xbills Ebenezer.
Sister Derby also on Friday march 11 released her first single of 2022. It is also the first song she has released in nearly a year.
The song is titled 'Odolastic' and produced by Luubeatz. Sister Derby enlists her brother, musician Kubolor to direct the music video.
In a post on YouTube, the African Mermaid noted that "Odolastic is a futuristic-sounding smooth saxy Sade-like Afropop Afrobeats bop with a small Amapiano reprise in the middle. The ballad is sprinkled with some heartfelt-yet-playful lyrics from Sister Derby confiding in her lover."
The video sees rapper Kofi Mole and Sister Derby pose as street hawkers who fall in love.
