Fast-rising urban gospel musician, Scott Evans, has disclosed that his nomination in this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) is a huge credit to his brand as a musician.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he made the revelation while reacting to the probabilities of winning his category later this week.
Scott Evans said he sees the nomination as an upliftment of his brand, which will propel him to work harder as he believes more glory days will come his way through hardwork.
"I think it is a big mileage for me. It is a big leverage for me and I'm going to use that as an opportunity to work harder because someone said the more harder you work, the more luckiest you get, so I'm going to keep working hard," he stated.
Scott Evans was on the show to speak about his nomination in the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, something some A-List Gospel artistes have spoken against.
The ‘Ma Pe K3’ hitmaker was quizzed on what he makes of claims by some gospel artistes regarding his nomination.
He said everyone is entitled to his or her opinion about anything so it is not a big deal for him.
"People are entitled to their own opinions, but ultimately, I think the same people who are talking are the same people who have been asking for favour and grace of God and the same favour and grace is working and hardwork is working for someone they are going against it. So ultimately, everything is going on well, so I'm good", he noted.
Scott Evans has been nominated in the Best New Artiste of the Year as well as the Best Gospel Song Categories for this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
