Home appliances giants, Hisense Ghana on Sunday presented two separate cheques totalling 180,00 cedis to Asante Kotoko on their coronation day in Kumasi.
The cheques - 108,000 (bonuses) cedis for the club and 72,000 cedis for the club's legends made the runaway champions' joy complete on the day they posted a 3-0 win over Elmina Sharks.
Additionally, the reigning league champions and their legends will receive 4,000 cedis each as winning bonuses for Sunday's win from the established company. And should they win their last league game, they together with their legends will pocket 8,000 cedis from Hisense.
Each player also took home Hisense souvenirs for their sterling performance in the season.
According to the management of Hisense, the financial and material reward was to urge the club on to strive for excellence.
And in a release from its Marketing and PR department, it stated "…we at Hisense Ghana are indeed proud of this great feat. We urging all native Ghanaian companies to support other clubs to restore our dwindling fortunes in football.
"We are happy to be part of this success story and to be associated with this powerful brand. It has really paid off. We are urging you to go the extra mile in your quest to extend your dominance on the African terrain, we will continue to support you, go and conquer Africa. Congratulations to you and your teeming fans who continue to patronize our high-quality products."
The well-organized ceremony saw great musical performances from Kwami Eugene and legendary Pat Thomas, who thrilled the ecstatic fans with the popular theme song of the club (Asante Kotoko Oseeyie!).
Also in attendance to grace the event was Hisense-sponsored, Dancegod and the DWP Dancers who electrified the Stadium with their well-rehearsed choreography.
