Amenfiman Rural Bank has invested over ¢1.1 million in developmental projects within communities in the bank’s operational catchment.
About GH¢892,000, representing seventy-eight percent of the amount, has been spent in the education sector.
This is largely due to the Bank’s commitment to improving the educational opportunities and facilities for people within the catchment communities.

The chunk of the investment went into the ongoing construction of a 4-storey structure towards the establishment of the flagship Amenfi State University College.
The renovation of Amenfiman Senior High School Assembly Hall is completed and handed over to boost the infrastructure needs of the school.

Other institutions benefiting from renovation works include the Wasa Ashireso, Akropong Methodist and Wasa Adansi basic schools.
Over sixty thousand cedis went into the improvement of health, water and sanitation projects.
The Wasa Akropong Government Hospital, Asankrangwa Health Directorate and Asankrangwa Nursing and Midwifery College also received diverse support.
Local assemblies in the area received over Gh80,000 in sponsorship to support the 2021 Farmers’ Day event as part of the bank’s commitment to invest in food security.

Requests for the bank to support the repair of a fire tender for Wassa Akropong Fire Service and a police station project at Bawdie were granted.
Sports and other social needs of the community consumed Gh180,000, including Samartex Football Club, and others at Manso Amenfi, Wasa Asikuma and Wasa Akropong.
