The national paralympic team has arrived in Luton, United Kingdom, to fine-tune preparations for this year’s Commonwealth Games, which comes off in Birmingham on July 28.
Ghana will compete in two disciplines. Emmanuel Nii Tettey Oku and Vida Antwi will be competing in powerlifting while Frederick Assor will be looking forward to winning medals in track cycling.

Team Ghana will attend a church service at the Restoration Revival Fellowship on July 24 and a reception to be hosted by Luton Mayor Maria Lovell at the Town Hall on July 25.

Dr. Henry Nyanteh Larbi is Team Ghana’s leader of delegation. The team’s training camp is being sponsored by ActiveLuton and Luton Council.
