Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard Ofori has been appointed the vice-captain of South African side, Orlando Pirates.
The decision to make Ofori the assistant captain comes following the departure of former captain skipper, Happy Jele.
The 28-year-old was a crucial player for Orlando Pirates when he transferred from Maritzburg United in October 2020. He has played in 42 games in all competitions, conceding 28 goals while recording 21 shutouts.
He also played a key role in the team's advancement to the CAF Confederation Cup final, when they fell to RS Berkane of Morocco on penalties.
Ofori is expected to be selected for Ghana's World Cup team to compete in Qatar in 2022.
