It was a night of glitz, glamour and class at The Fitzgerald in Cantonments on the 3rd of November 2022, as CFAO proudly launched the commencement of Mercedes-Benz distributorship in Ghana.
CFAO has signed an exclusive dealership agreement, making it the sole authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Ghana.
The event saw a cross-section of celebrities, highly placed businessmen and women, Ghana's corporate elites and car enthusiasts enjoy a night dusted with glitter, pomp and pageantry. Patrons were treated to a selection of classy music, tasty hors d'oeuvres whilst experiencing the Mercedes-Benz heritage story wall, a Hollywood-style photo wall and a convivial atmosphere.

The GLS, GLE SUV, and COUPE models of Mercedes-Benz were also on display during the event, and guests were allowed to experience the vehicles' interior and exterior. In addition, a vintage Mercedes-Benz was also given prime placement on the event grounds as part of the brand's strong heritage.
In his opening address Managing Director of CFAO, Adedamola Adelabu conveyed his heartfelt gratitude for the historic celebration and thanked all stakeholders for their role.
He added, "Our partnership with Mercedes-Benz rides on the back of 113 years, dedicated to the service of the automobile industry in Ghana and an enviable pedigree in delivering excellent aftersales service. This is the conviction for Mercedes-Benz's choice of CFAO Ghana."

During his speech, the Sales Manager for Mercedes-Benz, Richard Edem Fumey, described most people's aspirations regarding the brand. Whether driving, sitting in or being associated with the Mercedes-Benz brand, irrespective of age, class or gender.

He added, "This symbolises the power the Mercedes Benz brand bonds people worldwide with – with a product that triggers desire."
He also highlighted some groundbreaking technology to inspire the guests and prospective customers to feel the genuine emotion of driving a Mercedes-Benz.
These include Extended MBUX functions - (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) which is a proprietary A.I.-driven user experience enhancing how you interact with your car; touchpad without controller – offers a wide touchscreen which allows users to control many functions on their vehicles seamlessly and keyless-go starting function - makes it possible to open and lock the vehicle conveniently and start it up quickly, simply by carrying the key.
The rest are dynamic select – determines your vehicle's different preset drive modes, giving you total control over how you drive and 9G Tronic – The world's first automatic transmission to feature a hydrodynamic torque converter.

The CFAO Ghana workshop is now fully fitted with the latest Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment, with branded and designated service bays in readiness. The aftersales team has taken intense training sessions to provide clients with the best services. Owners of Mercedes Benz cars are welcome to visit CFAO Ghana and book appointments for their servicing.
The launch marked an exciting journey for CFAO and a fruitful partnership with Mercedes-Benz in Ghana. Indeed, the Star has come Home.
