Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar, scored the only goal of the game as Real Tamale United (RTU) beat the Phobians on matchday 16 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
After a goalless first half, the RTU came back from recess as the better side with Manaf Umar beating Richmond Ayi from outside the box with a powerful volley.
The win sees the Tamale-based win six consecutive home matches in the league for the first time since December 2007.
Hearts on the other hand drop to fifth on the league table following the defeat as they go six points behind the league leaders.
Aduana FC ensured they maintained their grip at the top of the league table with a 2-0 win over Nsoatreman at the Nana Agyeman Badu I stadium on Sunday.
Gabriel Akwasi Mensah and Richard Afriyie scored a goal in each half to give the Ogya lads all three points.

Felix Kwaku Hammond and Nasiru Moro were also on target in the game.
Prior to Sunday's games, Tamale City utilised their home advantage as they earned a 3-0 win over Kotoku Royals.
Asante Kotoko will welcome Accra Lions to the Baba Yara Stadium looking to reclaim the second spot following Bechem United's defeat.
