Hiplife artiste-turned-gospel musician, OJ Blaq wants to spread his tentacles in winning souls for God and he thinks one of the ways to do that is to get featured on secular programmes.
Speaking to Joy Entertainment, the ‘Chalewote’ artiste said the most important part of evangelism is going into places where there are a lot of lost souls to be won for Christ.
“I want to send a message to the un-church, those who have a problem with Christiandom and all that,” he said.
He noted that he does not even mind going to clubs to perform.
“Even in the club, if you invite me and I have to perform, and I pray over it, I will come and do it,” he added.
According to him, he had even informed people like the Chief Executive Officer of RuffTown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman aka Bullet to put him on his shows.
“Like I spoke to my brother Bullet of RuffTown Records and said ‘oh chale I forget. Like I for put you on the show [Wendy Shay’s concert],” he told Kwame Dadzie in an interview on Joy Prime TV.
He however said he would be unfazed if he is criticised for performing on un-Christian stages.
“I am not looking at human [beings]. Because the one that I am following, or the one that I believe in. The faith that I believe in is Christ,” he further stated.
Since OJ Blaq switched to gospel music, he has released and an album titled ‘Show Dem.’
