A former signee of Lynx Entertainment Record Label, OJ Blaq, has switched from making secular to gospel music.
According to him, the change has had a positive impact on him in the sense that he has stopped doing so many things and has aligned himself with a peaceful way of life.
He also mentioned how his prayer life and church life have changed as a result.
“Anything that concerns God, don’t call it cheap because when it comes to the gospel, you have to learn and understand,“ O.J Blaq says.
Explaining the reason for the switch in an interview with KMJ on Showbiz Now on Friday, he said he wanted to lay low in life in order to study things in relation to ministries.
OJ Blaq added that he is still working with his former boss Richie and also other producers.
He also revealed in the interview that he will release an album in August called 'Show Them,' which means (show them the power of God) and will include eight songs he refers to as his testimony.
He admitted to hating churches and becoming enraged when he saw billboards prophets, however, he said being born again has changed him.
“Six years before I was born again, I saw a billboard and for the first time I smiled. There were five men of God and I said I like this one,“ he stated .
OJ Blaq revealed the new meaning of his name after the transition to be Oracle of Jesus, in response to a comment made by a viewer on the show via zoom.
