NDC in Okaikwei North join Muslims for Iftar

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) of Okaikwei North Constituency has held its first-ever Iftar programme.

The event, which was organised to break the fast during the holy month of Ramadan, was attended by various dignitaries, including Muslim clerics, Imams, the Deputy National Women Organiser, Deputy Regional Women Organizer, Former Government Appointees, Constituency executives, Branch executives and party faithful.

The programme commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a collective breaking of the fast with fruits and water.

It was also marked by a sense of camaraderie and inclusivity, as people from diverse backgrounds came together to observe this important religious practice under the leadership of the NDC.

The Iftar programme served as a platform for political leaders, community members, and NDC-affiliated religious leaders to interact and foster closer relationships. It provided an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and discussions on issues of concern to the constituents, in line with the NDC's commitment to engaging with the community.

The impressive turnout at our Iftar programme in Okaikwei North Constituency is a testament to the party's efforts in promoting unity and interfaith harmony within the constituency.

The event exemplifies the NDC's commitment to fostering unity, understanding, and peaceful coexistence among different religious and cultural groups in the constituency.
