In the heart of the bustling city of Accra, a sense of anticipation hangs in the air as the 2023 edition of Ghana's largest street art festival, Chale Wote marked its grand opening on Monday, August 21.
As the sun began to rise, a meditative procession kicked off the festival.
Participants of all ages and backgrounds came together, each adorned in pristine white attire, symbolizing a purpose of unity.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the procession weaved its way through the bustling streets with a unique fusion of culture, art, and community spirit.
Spectators gathered along the sidewalks, capturing the moment with their cameras and phones, excited to witness the birth of the street festival.
