Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has dismissed reports that his net worth is at $22 million.
Speaking in an interview with Complex, the ‘Last Last’ hitmaker laughed off the claim when the interviewer informed him what Google says his net worth is.
Burna Boy, although did not reveal how much he is worth, said that the report was inaccurate adding that despite the false reportage he does not mind if people continue to think that way.
“Let’s not talk about it. Well, I prefer they go that way. That is cool. But it’s inaccurate. They are way off,” Burna Boy said.
The Grammy-winning artiste added that he is thankful to be able to take care of his family’s financial needs as a result of the success he enjoys in the industry.
“It’s great, man. It’s a blessing. It’s nothing short of a blessing. I always told my mum while growing up as a kid that I would buy her a house and a car someday. Another ‘I Told Them’ moment,” he said.
