Paramount Chief of Goaso Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, has expressed anger at the government over its failure to improve deplorable roads in the Ahafo Region.
He said this when he was joined by key stakeholders to celebrate his 15th Anniversary Enstoolment.
According to the chief, it is worrying that it is worrying how Ahafo Region has been neglected when it comes to the fixing of road networks despite the natural resources the region provides.
According to him, it is untenable that roads in the region such Tepa-Goaso, Kenyasi-Hwidiem, and Kwapong - Sankore among others which are key to development remain abandoned.
He indicated that it is sad to see the pains residents and commuters endure in accessing these roads during rainy and harmattan seasons.
The chief insisted that he is not willing to join an entourage to meet any government delegation over this anymore since all efforts in that direction so far have yielded no results.
