Ghanaian youngster Ibrahim Osman says he is under no pressure to become the next big star at FC Nordsjaelland following the imminent departure of Ernest Nuamah.
Osman, also a Right to Dream academy graduate, has hit the ground running this season since the start of the 2023/24 campaign and has been involved in five goals in nine games so far.
The 18-year-old has one goal and four assists to his name across all competitions for the Tigers and has been tipped to star in the absence of Nuamah.
Nuamah is expected to be unveiled by Olympique Lyon soon after completing his medical tests and other paperwork.
But Osman says he needs no pressure but would hope to reach the level the Black Stars winger did while in Denmark.
"It's a good feeling because now I have more game time, but I have to prove more," he said when quizzed about the development of his game.
"I need to just keep on working hard and listen to my coach day-in-and-day-out so I can reach the top level like [Ernest] Nuamah.
On feeling Nuamah's shoes he added, "Not actually a big pressure. I know myself and how I play. I just need to keep on playing the way I play."
"No need to have pressure on me."
Osman is expected to return to action on Thursday when Nordsjaelland face FK Partizan in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier.
The Danish side have a 5-0 lead from the first meeting at the Right to Dream Park.
