The Vice Chancellor of the Presbyterian University, Ghana, Prof. John Ofosu-Anim, is assuring of collaborative effort to make the institution one of the best in the country.
Professor John Ofosu-Anim says his administration will enhance community engagement and partnerships aimed at promoting social and economic development for the university community and beyond.
Speaking at a colourful ceremony during his investiture as the first Vice Chancellor of the Presbyterian University, Professor Ofosu-Anim indicated his resolve to lead a research oriented university aimed at solving societal problems.
He says the university will collaborate with traditional authorities in all the five campuses within the Ashanti, Eastern and Greater Accra regions of Ghana to enhance holistic education.
Professor Ofosu-Anim hinted of a state of the art ICT facility in one of the campus to facility teaching and learning.
Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church , Ghana, Rt. Rev Prof Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, who officiated the induction charged the Vice Chancellor to do all he can to navigate through some of the repercussions left behind by COVID -19 in the educational institution.
