After months of reviewing thousands of songs submitted for Nacee's 'Aseda Challenge', the Ghanaian musician and producer will be presenting the list of the winners on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
'Aseda' became a sensation on social media and even managed to compete with secular songs in the Top 20 playlist on various streaming platforms and radio stations.
The song's popularity prompted Nacee to invite his fans to participate in an open verse challenge.
To do this, he formed a Selection Committee including music industry stakeholders such as Kaywa, Diana Hopeson, Kwesi Ernest, Franky 5, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kwame Dadzie, Kofi OKyere Darko and Abeiku Santana.
After announcing the winners, they will be groups for different versions of remixes of the 'Aseda' song. These renditions will be done in various genres.
The projects are expected to help promote the song more as well as put the spotlight on singers who may not necessarily be in the limelight.
