They apologised to Zapp Mallet stating that his impact on the sisters’ careers cannot be understated.
This comes after the producer expressed his disappointment with the veteran artistes for failing to invite him to their 40th anniversary celebrations including the final concert on Sunday, October 15.
In an interview with Ghanaweb, Zapp Mallet said he was pained when he saw notices for the celebrations and concert on billboards but received no invitation after contributing to their career.
“I wasn’t invited so I guess I wasn’t part of their musical team. Meanwhile, I did an album with them [Tagoe Sisters] so I was supposed to have been there. They didn’t even call to tell me and nothing came,” he said.
Zapp Mallet worked with the Tagoe Sisters and produced their second album in 1989.
