The Alliance Francaise in Accra was ablaze with culinary delight and vibrant festivities as the Eggstra-O Food Invasion 2023 unfolded on Saturday October 14th.
This year's event, co-organized by The Little Cow Consulting Limited in partnership with ShaQ Express, has set new standards in the culinary landscape.
With the support of sponsors like Aramex, AT- formerly AirtelTigo, Voltic, Alliance Francaise, Arkesel, Eye360 Security, iSel and eGoTickets and in collaboration with media partners Joy Prime and Papalaw Radio, the Food Invasion was nothing short of spectacular.
The Eggstra-O Food Invasion, part of the nationwide Eggstra-O campaign for the American Soybean Association and World Innitiative for Soy in Human Health(ASA/WISHH), is committed to spreading awareness about the many benefits of eggs and promoting healthier eating habits in Ghana.

The National coordinator of the Ghana National Egg Campaign Secretariat (GNECS), Dr. Comfort Acheampong, delivered an enlightening educational talk on egg health and nutrition, emphasising the importance of incorporating eggs into daily diets.
The event offered a wide array of activities that kept attendees enthralled throughout the day. From a thrilling dance competition to the spoon and egg challenge, chop and paint sessions, a lively karaoke session, Bingo, video games, and much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Attendees were also served free assorted egg dishes and treated to exciting giveaways, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to the festivities.
With over 15 vendors offering a diverse range of delectable dishes and more, the Food Invasion transformed into a paradise for food lovers seeing more than 300 enthusiastic attendees who came together to celebrate the culinary diversity and the goodness of eggs, making the event a resounding success.
As the Eggstra-O Food Invasion 2023 comes to a close, the organizers are already gearing up for an even more exhilarating edition next year.

The Eggstra-O campaign is committed to consistently promoting the consumption of eggs and continues to be a driving force in fostering healthier eating habits in Ghana.
American Soybean Association (ASA) under one of its programs the World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) has for over 20 years embarked on various soy promotion campaigns in Africa, US, Asia, etc, through its trade and development across global market systems related to protein demands, working to improve health, nutrition, and food security in the markets where they work.
