AZ hosted Villa in their third group game of the competition looking to register their second win after beating Legia in their last game.
However, the Dutch side found themselves two goals down after the opening 45 minutes Leon Bailey and Youri Tielemans scoring for the Premier League side.
Villa continued their damage in the second half of the game scoring two more goals through Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.
But there was a consolation for the home side as Sadiq received a pass before sending a low drive past Emiliano Martinez in goal for Villa.
The Ghanaian continues to his adaptation at the club and has now recorded two-goal involvements in his first eight games across all competitions.
