A man was moved to tears as Ghanaian Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak concluded her 10-day cooking marathon.
In a widely circulated video on social media, he is seen weeping uncontrollably while others try to console him.
The man, hailing from the Northern region, had set up his mat at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale to support Chef Failatu on her Guinness World Records cook-a-thon attempt which commenced on New Year's day.
Throughout the 10 days leading up to the event's culmination, Chef Failatu diligently served him from morning until evening.
The emotional moment occurred when Chef Failatu, having served delectable meals to a supportive crowd who gathered at the venue, finally turned off the gas stove in her kitchen in the early hours of Wednesday, January 10, at exactly 10:00 am.
Chef Failatu, assisted by Chef Malik Eric cooked for an impressive 227 hours and two seconds.
The man's tears were an expression of gratitude towards Chef Failatu for providing him with nourishing meals for the past 10 days.
His tears also reflected his longing for the delightful dishes of Chef Failatu.
