In the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries, several incumbent Members of Parliament faced defeat as party members voted for new candidates to represent them in the upcoming general elections.
The outcomes of these primaries signify a shift in political dynamics within the party, leading to changes in the representation of constituencies. The defeated MPs will now make way for fresh faces as the NPP prepares for the 2024 elections.
