Ivorians came out in their numbers for celebrations after Cote d'Ivoire clinched their third Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title.
Emerse Fae led the Elephants to success during the 2023 AFCON as they came from behind to beat Nigeria in the final in Abidjan.
William Troost-Ekong opened the scoring for the Super Eagles before second-half strikes from Franck Kessie and Sebastien Haller sealed the win for the host nation.
President Alassane Ouattara declared Monday, February 12, a national holiday in honour of the achievement with a trophy parade also added to the activities.
The Ivorian team took centre stage in the city of Abdijan where they celebrated with the fans after their success on the continental stage.
