Ghana international Joseph Painstil has officially completed his transfer move to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Los Angeles Galaxy.
The 26-year-old joins the American outfit on a four-year deal after ending his stay with Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk.
The winger's announcement was by the club through their social media pages on Wednesday night.

We have acquired Joseph Paintsil from Belgian Pro League side K.R.C. Genk as a Designated Player and signed the forward to a four-year contract through the end of the 2027 MLS season.

LA reportedly paid about $9 million for Paintsil to acquire the services of the Ghanaian from Genk.
Paintsil has 61g/35a in 228 professional outings and has been with Genk since 2018. He also had loans at Ferencvárosi (Hungary) and Ankaragücü (Turkey).
Paintsil has made 14 international appearances for Ghana. He was a member of their 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squads.

"Joseph is a dynamic winger with and without the ball who possesses the capacity to change games instantly. We look forward to integrating him into our group quickly."
