Medeama's chances of reaching the CAF Champions League knockout stage were dashed after a 1-0 loss to African powerhouse Al Ahly.
The Yellow and Mauves hoped to upset Al Ahly in the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, but they were unable to win.
Medeama would feel unlucky after failing to convert the numerous chances they created in the opening half of the game.
Hussein El Shahat scored a stunning goal to put the Egyptian club ahead worsening the Ghanaian club's woes in the competition.
Medeama continue to sit bottom of Group D with four points and will be hoping that neither Belouizdad nor Young Africans pick up three points when they face each other.
Medeama's last group game will be played away against CR Belouizdad.
