The family of Highlife musician Kwabena Kwakye Kabobo, popularly known as K.K Kabobo, will host an observance service in honour of the late singer.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024. It will be held at the Tesano Police Depot Social Centre in Accra.
This comes a month after the veteran musician died following his battle with a liver disease.
K.K Kabobo passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, after he was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC).
He died upon arrival.

Weeks prior to his death, the ‘Onyame Ehu Wu‘ hitmaker had revealed he had been unwell for months and the expenses of the family to aid in his treatment were not enough.
Many people including former President John Mahama, Samira Bawumia, Wendy Shay and the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) all donated to fund KK Kabobo's medical bills.
However, K.K Kabobo passed despite efforts to support him.
Born Kwabena Kwakye Kabobo, the musician was a pupil teacher before starting life as a musician.
The veteran Highlife singer established his first band, Explosive Jets, in 1978. In 1981, he dropped his first album which had the smash hit, Nyatse Nyatse (Girl).
In 1992, his song Onyame Ehuwo was declared the song of the year and had the highest number of records sold in Ghana that same year.
In 2012, K. K. Kabobo was ordained as a pastor by the Covenant Mission Bible College.
