Ghana's Black Starlets defeated Niger in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, May 9.
Goals from Benjamin Hanson and Joseph Narbi were enough for Laryea Kingston's side who continue their preparations for the WAFU B U-17 Nations Cup.
The Starlets saw some nervy moments in the opening minutes of the game but looked comfortable after the 15th-minute mark to dictate play.
Hanson broke the deadlock midway through the opening half as he converted a spot kick ten minutes before the break to give Ghana following a foul on Ebenezer Anane.
Narbi added to Ghana's tally late in the second half after the Black Starlets seamlessly caught their opponents with a quick counterattack.
The encounter marks the Black Starlets' final preparation game before the WAFU U17 Championship, which begins on the 15th of this month.
Kingston's team has been preparing for the competition with the game against Niger the opportunity to put the finishing touches needed to the team.
The Black Starlets recently returned from Russia, where they participated in the UEFA U16 International Development Tournament.
