Themed "Public Relations for Value Creation," the event will take place at the Accra City Hotel (formerly Novotel), featuring a series of exciting activities including the investiture of the recently elected Executive Committee of the Institute.
The launch will be attended by members of IPR Ghana, sister associations, representatives of political parties, the Peace Council, captains of industry, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders.
This milestone celebration falls within the Annual IPR Ghana Week, during which the Institute will showcase and celebrate the significant value that the Public Relations profession brings to society.
Esther A. N. Cobbah, President of IPR and CEO of Stratcomm Africa, stated the importance of public relations.
“Public Relations brings a lot of value to individuals, organisations, and society in general, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate and demonstrate this through the activities lined up for the anniversary and this year’s IPR Ghana Week.
"A key focus for this year is ethical communication for peacebuilding in an election year. We invite all our stakeholders to join us in celebrating the value that PR offers to all.”
The IPR Ghana Week will feature various activities tailored to different stakeholders, highlighting the pivotal role of public relations in fostering ethical communication and peacebuilding, especially significant in an election year.
The event promises to be a landmark occasion, celebrating five decades of contribution to the field of public relations and its impact on society.
