Music sensation, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, will perform for the second time at the iconic 02 Arena in London for an event slated for Sept 21.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the O2 Arena, commonly known as ‘The O2’, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the centre of the 02 entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London.
It opened in its present form in 2007. It has the third-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom.
It is behind the co-op Live and Manchester Arena, and in 2008 was the world’s busiest music arena.
Asake, who is presently on his ‘Lunge Boy’ tour, took to his Instagram page @asakemusic to announce his second-time performance to his fans, at the highest seating capacity O2 arena with excitement for making history.
According to him, he is so excited to announce that his tour ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’ coming to city that is close to everyone.
“I’m super excited to announce that my tour ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’ is coming to a city near you. London Lungu BY is Active @theo2london Saturday 21st September, “he wrote.
In 2023, the singer delivered a solid-out performance at the O2 arena. The show, which is scheduled for Sept.21, happens to be a part of his highly anticipated “Lungu Boy” world tour.
His latest project, “Lungu Boy,” would be his third album in three years and fourth project since January 2022.
The “Lungu Boy” tour promises to be an unforgettable experience, with stops in Europe, America, and Australia.
