On the third day of the Chale Wote Street Arts Festival on August 22, a captivating session titled "Kete Techniques in Analog Designs" offered valuable insights into the art of Kente weaving.
Eli Asem, a master weaver from Agotime Kpetoe, shared the intricate techniques involved in the craft and the profound meanings behind the symbols woven into the designs.

These symbols, which draw inspiration from everyday objects and ecological motifs, carry deep significance.

Eli highlighted that Kete weaving is an ancestral tradition passed down through generations, and its deep messages are revealed only to those with a pure heart.
