The Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly Engineer, Isaac Ofori has revealed the owner of a two-storey building that collapsed and killed three people on Saturday had no permit.
The unfortunate incident happened at Kasoa Asempa Down near the New market.
A carpenter and two others tragically lost their lives after the building they were working on collapsed.
In an interview with Adom News, Mr Ofori revealed the owner always chases them out anytime they visit the site to inspect her permit.
He claimed the building owner, who doubles owner of Richmerc Vocational School was using inferior building materials.
The engineer noted that, the Assembly summoned the landlady several times but she refused to honour all the invitation.
However, he said there are plans underway to sue her to serve as a deterrent to others.
Meanwhile, Kasoa Divisional Police Command has invited the landlady for questioning.
