Chief Executive Officer of Sapholda Ventures, Mr. Adolf Tetteh Adjei, is confident of emerging as the winner of the CEO Penalty Shootout at the upcoming JoySports Invitational Tournament.
The competition, which is the biggest corporate sports event in the country, will take place on Saturday, October 26, at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.
Mr. Adolf, a past winner of the category, has boasted about undergoing a rigorous training regimen in England with Chelsea and is optimistic about his chances of success.
“I have been training. I just came from Stamford Bridge, training with Cole Palmer,” he told JoyNews.
“This time around, if you give me 10 penalties, none will go off.”
Sapholda Ventures are also former champions in both football and relay events.
Mr. Adolf added that they will compete at an optimal level to secure the title.
“Sports is what I love and it is what I do. You can see how fit I am. I have ex-Black Stars players in my team. Get ready, we will be competing.”
The JoySports Invitational Tournament was officially launched on Tuesday, October, 24, 2026.
The Games include the Men’s Football Competition, Women’s Penalty Shoot Out, Mixed 4×100m Relay, Volleyball, Basketball Shooting, Lime and Spoon Relay, and more.
