Former Dreams FC duo Abdul Aziz Issah and John Antwi have been nominated for the Men's Interclub Player of the Year category at the 2024 CAF Awards.
Their impressive performances during the club's CAF Confederation Cup campaign last season have earned them a place among Africa’s football elite.
Aziz Issah, who recently completed a loan move to Barcelona B, contributed four goals and two assists in 12 appearances, playing a crucial role in the team's deep run in the competition which saw them exit in the semifinals.
His efforts also helped the club recover from a poor start in the Ghana Premier League scoring seven goals and guiding them to a ninth-place finish.
John Antwi, on the other hand, was a key figure in the team's success in the continent's club competition scoring five goals and providing two assists before Dreams were eliminated by Egyptian giants Zamalek.
The 32-year-old's leadership and contributions were pivotal to what was seen as an overachievement by the Still Believe boys.
