The Atebubuman Education Secretariat has partnered with the Ghana Education Service (GES) to organise radio-based classes for final-year Junior High School (JHS) pupils in the area.
The move is geared towards preparing the pupils adequately for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
This radio-based learning is designed to interact with the candidates using call-ins, quizzes, or listener feedback to strengthen their grasp of key concepts.

He outlined several programmes aimed towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 for the advancement of the community through education.
“We have carefully outlined targeted programmes aimed at achieving SDG 4 to promote inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Through these initiatives, the secretariat is optimistic about advancing our community’s growth and progress by making quality education accessible to everyone,” he added.
Dr. Addo hinted of plans to support needy but brilliant children.
“Moving forward, the secretariat seeks to foster academic excellence, promote equal educational opportunities, and nurture future leaders from the community by supporting brilliant but needy students in the area through a range of targeted support schemes including scholarship funds, grants, mentorship, and provision of learning materials to alleviate financial barriers and create opportunities for deserving students to reach their academic potential,” he explained.
The secretariat has also instituted an annual post-career guidance seminar for Senior High School and Junior High graduates in the area.
Dr. Addo appealed to benevolent individuals and corporate organisations to contribute towards sustaining the initiative.
