The Paramount Chief of the Kumawu Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Barima Sarpong Tweneboa Kodua, has commended the Vice President and flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his exemplary policies for Ghana.
According to the Chief, Dr Bawumia should remain focused on spreading his vision for the country, expressing his belief that Ghanaians will support and reward his good works as Vice President.
"Continue to spread your good message because your work is clear, and I believe Ghanaians will reward you," he said.
"You have introduced good policies, such as the flat rate tax, the involvement of traditional rulers in governance, digitalisation, and many others. Keep promoting them. I believe God will reward you. I believe that Ghanaians will listen to you and offer you their support," he added.
The Kumawumanhene also assured Dr Bawumia of the support of the people of Kumawu for his policies and good works as Vice President, as well as for the substantial development projects the community has seen under the NPP government over the past eight years.
"Today, I won’t say much, except to bear testimony. It has been eight years since you and your boss assumed office, and I am here to testify to the great work you have done for the people of Ghana and Kumawuman."
The Chief further stated, "We have seen what you have done, and we, the people of Kumawu, can testify. So, continue your good work. I believe that Ghanaians will listen to you and offer you their support."
"We pray for you, we pray for more courage, good health, and success," he emphasised.
