Afro-Arab Properties has been declared the Affordable Luxury Real Estate Brand of the Year 2024 at the Ghana Property Awards.
The ceremony, which celebrates excellence in Ghana’s real estate and construction sectors, was held at the Accra International Conference Center on November 30, 2024.
Receiving the award, the Chief Executive, Salamu Amadu, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and praised his team's efforts for their commitment to innovation and affordability.
"First of all, I want to thank the Almighty Allah for the award and the organisers for recognising the work of Afro-Arab Properties. I'm very excited," he said.
Afro-Arab Properties is recognised as the first Ghanaian-owned real estate firm to introduce a five-year interest-free payment plan, making homeownership more accessible. The company also plans to construct 200,000 homes across Ghana by 2050 to address the country’s housing deficit.
As part of its commitment to social development, Afro-Arab Properties has announced a peace match between Afro-Arab XI and Giwa XI to promote unity ahead of the December 7 elections.

The match, scheduled for December 6, 2024, will take place at the newly renovated Afro-Arab Arena in Kokomlemle, Accra.
The peace match aims to encourage Zongo youth to embrace peace during the election period.
Regarding the initiative, Mr Amadu stated, "Peace is a precious asset that should not be taken for granted, so I urge the youth in Zongo communities across the country to stay away from violence."
He added that the match, featuring a select team led by Sariki Abass Giwa I, Okuapeman Ademtenhene, is intended to remind Ghanaians of the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence.
