The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has dismissed reports circulating about recent or ongoing recruitment activities within the organisation.
In a press release signed by its Chief Executive, Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, the NHIA clarified that all recruitment exercises were completed in October 2024.
“These exercises were conducted in strict adherence to the law, relevant regulations, procedures, and best practices, ensuring transparency, fairness, and meritocracy,” the statement read.
The NHIA stated that appointments and confirmations for director-level positions fall under the purview of the Public Services Commission, not the Authority.
While the NHIA may communicate outcomes to applicants, the final decisions rest solely with the Commission.
The Authority urged the public to disregard any claims of ongoing or last-minute recruitments, labelling such assertions as false. It reaffirmed its commitment to integrity and professionalism in its operations.
“We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all our operations,” the release stated.
The NHIA also encouraged individuals with concerns or inquiries to seek clarification directly through its official communication channels.
For further information, the public is advised to contact the NHIA directly.
