Ghanaian youngster, Raymond Asante, has completed a permanent transfer to Belgian side Sporting Charleroi.
Asante signs a contract with the club until June 2026 with the option to extend for another two years which could see him stay until 2028.
The forward joined the club on loan in the summer from Italian top flight side Udinese after impressing with the Serie A side's youth squad.
Asante was a standout performer for Udinese's youth side last season as he powered the club's U-19 side to promotion to the Primavera 1.
The forward had an exceptional season, notching an impressive tally of 21 goals while adding up 12 assists across all competitions.
With Udinese’s Primavera side Asante played a total of 53 games and scored 23 goals and 13 assists having joined from Young Apostles.
Asante was part of Charleroi’s pre-season campaign in the Netherlands during the summer and featured in four games during their preparations for the 2024/25 season where he scored twice.
The 20-year-old suffered a knee injury which kept him out of action until December, making one substitute appearance and being an unused substitute on three occasions.
Asante has managed just two games for the club so far since his arrival from Italy and he will be hoping a permanent switch will increase his game time at the club.
