Xodus Communications Limited through its Xodus Foundation has donated clothing to children and traders at the Madina Market in the Greater Accra Region.
The clothing comprises both used and new ones. Xodus Foundation's Dignity Project has over the years supported children, especially orphans with the sole aim of making the world a better place for humanity.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr Richard Abbey said the donation forms part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to communities, and this is the third time the foundation is embarking on such generous gesture.
According to him, the gesture is to support less-privileged children and children with disabilities who find it difficult to afford such basic needs.

According to him, he had been a victim of living in destitution, something that inspires him now to give back to society.
“I am very grateful to God for adding another wonderful year to my age. As I celebrate my birthday today, I thought it wise to do something with my foundation that will serve as lasting memories, then I thought of helping to cloth needy children in the market", he said.

Mr Abbey also took the opportunity to urge well-meaning individuals, philanthropists, civil society groups and corporate entities to also give back to society and support persons with disabilities.
Both children and adults commended Mr Abbey for the gesture.

According to them, the items will go a long way to help the children to look decent.
“Today is a great day, we are happy for such a great donation to this market. We wish Mr Abbey all the best in life as he celebrates his birthday. We are indeed grateful ", they noted.
