The Winneba Government Hospital recorded 22 births during the Easter festivities between Friday and Sunday.Miss Philomina Annan, Principal Midwife and Miss Beatrice Asempah, Senior Staff Midwife, told the Ghana News Agency that five of the children, made up of two boys and three girls died soon after birth.The rest of the children and their mothers are in good condition.They said eight children were born on Good Friday, six were delivered on Holy Saturday and eight on Easter Sunday.Nine children were born on Good Friday and Holy Saturday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Hospital in Breman Asikuma.Miss Anthonette Badong, Midwife Superintendent of the hospital told the GNA that four children were born on Good Friday and five were delivered on Holy Saturday.Source: GNA
