Black Queens coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren is confident of success after being unveiled by the Ghana Football Association.
The Swedish tactician was officially introduced to the public after signing a two-year contract to lead the women’s senior national team.
The 43-year-old replaces Nora Häuptle, who left to join Zambia following the expiration of her contract.
"The most important aspect of my job is to visit all the players, watch games, and help them improve," Bjorkegren said at the unveiling.
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but I think the most important thing for me, the staff, and the players is to work hard every single day to ensure that we will be successful sooner or later.
"I can see so much talent in this country, so I am really sure that, in the short term, we have the potential to be successful. In the long term, I can always guarantee that we will be successful."
Bjorkegren's debut on the dugout will be the upcoming friendly against Morocco on February 21 ahead of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for July.
The Black Queens have been paired with South Africa, Mali and Tanzania in Group C.
