In a digital age where social media plays an undeniable role in shaping perspectives and influencing behaviour, Ghanaian blogger and brand influencer Zhikay IkeJunior has taken the initiative to educate the next generation on the responsible and impactful use of digital media platforms.
As part of the campaign, over 200 students at the SAP’s were engaged in an interactive session focusing on the impact of social media and how they can leverage on digital platforms to inspire change and shape a better society.
Speaking at the event, Zhikay IkeJunior, founder of “The Mind Shift Campaign” underscored the significance of educating the next generation on responsible engagement and decision-making in this digital age while avoiding the pitfalls that have hindered many before them.
“The next generation cannot fail. They are not permitted to repeat mistakes when their footsteps can be guided,” said Zhikay. “We will let our life experiences shape their journey, teach them the right path, and inspire them to make society a better place,” he added.
The Mindshift Campaign Project was created to challenge the status quo by encouraging young minds to see social media as more than just an entertainment tool. Instead, a powerful platform for education, innovation, and societal development.
Zhikay Ikejunior partnered with known social media influencers Quecy official and freedom official in the maiden edition of the project. The two who are widely known for content creation shared their experience with the students on how social media has helped them positively to make impact.
The Mindshift Campaign led by Zhikay IkeJunior is set to expand its reach, targeting more schools and institutions while reinforcing its mission to empower young people to cultivate a more responsible and impactful digital culture.
