Joyce Atimbila scored twice for Jonina.
In the Northern Zone, Sung Shining Ladies played out a 1-1 draw with FC Savannah on Friday, March 7.
Fosu Royals Ladies earned a narrow win over Prisons Ladies while Tamale Super Ladies also drew against Northern Ladies.
Dreamz Ladies vs Kumasi Sports Academy takes place later today, as well as Ampem Darkoa Ladies clash against Supreme Ladies.
