The Rainbow Nations Challenge tennis tournament is set to return for its fourth edition from March 11-13, 2025, bringing together 56 players from 23 countries.
The tournament, organized by the Ghana South African Business Chamber (GSABC), will be held at the Accra Lawn Tennis Club under the patronage of Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle.
All player entrance fees will be donated to the ZAR Foundation to support community projects in Klottey-Korle.
Over the past four years, the tournament has fostered international business networking and cooperation, and this year’s event aims to strengthen those connections.
Matches will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. under floodlights, with the tournament culminating in a finals night on Thursday.
The winning team will be celebrated with live music and a gala cocktail.
Defending champions, the USA team, will face strong competition from Ghana, India, Italy, Belgium, and South Africa.
Grant Webber, President of GSABC, expressed enthusiasm about the tournament’s growth.
“We are thrilled to host the Rainbow Nations Challenge for the fourth year. We hope to continue fostering closer relationships with the diplomatic and business communities in Ghana and create new frameworks for cooperation in these uncertain economic times,” he said.
Beyond tennis, the Rainbow Nations Challenge brand has expanded to include a running club with a monthly time trial and a padel club that plays every weekend.
GSABC extended its appreciation to sponsors for their support in making the tournament a success.
